- 2.3Rail traffic running is monitored and recorded to assist with on-time running in accordance with workplace policies and procedures
- 2.4Performance of equipment and rail traffic is monitored to identify faults or defects and appropriate actions are taken in accordance with workplace policies and procedures
- 2.5Security of rolling stock is monitored and identified abnormalities are dealt with in accordance with workplace policies and procedures
- 2.6Signals and track and/or road are monitored and confirmed in accordance with system of safeworking
3 Assist with handing over or stabling rail traffic
- 3.1Appropriate assistance is provided when stabling rail traffic in accordance with system of safeworking requirements, operational instructions and workplace policies and procedures
- 3.2Safety devices are activated or put in position in accordance with workplace policies and procedures
- 3.3During hand over or stabling rail traffic, documentation relevant to rail traffic activities undertaken is updated and provided to relief crew or is completed and forwarded in accordance with workplace policies and procedures
- 3.4Relevant housekeeping activities are completed prior to handover/stabling in accordance with workplace policies and procedures
