2.7Determine quality of measurement or sample based on established procedures.

3 Report measurements.

3.1Read test results and report to the anaesthetist.
3.2Promptly identify and report abnormal findings to the anaesthetist.
3.3Document results of measurement or ensure documentation is completed.

4 Decontaminate and store equipment.

4.1Following the conclusion of the procedure, decontaminate monitoring equipment in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
4.2Store equipment ready for next use.
