2 Implement cargo lashing and unlashing procedures

- 2.2Work area is constantly monitored for hazards and risk control measures are implemented
- 2.3Safety procedures and safety zones are implemented when working with mobile equipment and cranes in accordance with national standards, safety codes and workplace procedures
- 2.4Work is conducted in accordance with industry standards, statutory requirements, safety codes, workplace procedures and cargo requirements
- 2.5Working at heights is completed in accordance with codes of practice and workplace procedures
- 2.6Effective communication method is used in accordance with workplace procedures
- 2.7Cargo are lashed and unlashed in accordance with workplace procedures and cargo are lashed and unlashed in accordance with lashing and unlashing plan
- 2.8Correct manual handling techniques are used when lashing and unlashing cargo

3 Complete cargo lashing and unlashing operations
- 3.1Cargo are covered and uncovered safely ensuring appropriate covering and lashing, no injury to persons in work area or damage to cargo, container and equipment
- 3.2Safety equipment, radios, lashing equipment and tools are inspected and returned to designated storage areas
- 3.3Relevant documentation is completed and filed in accordance with workplace procedures
