4 Complete cleaning of aquatic equipment
- 4.1Ensure all equipment is dry before entering waterways or storage
- 4.2Dispose of waste materials according to workplace and environmental procedures
- 4.3Record inspection outcomes and cleaning history according to workplace procedures
Performance evidence
- There must be evidence that the individual has inspected and cleaned equipment that has been in contact with the aquatic environment on at least one occasion, including:
- selecting and safely using the appropriate cleaning site, cleaning materials and equipment, and cleaning and disinfecting methods for at least two of the following equipment types:

- fish nets and gear
