working with a pilot vehicle, including: managing the speed and travel path of a driver through the work site; identifying and reporting when part of the length of the work site is out of view of the supervisor, work gang and traffic controller
directing traffic on high volume, multilane roads with one traffic controller per lane
directing pedestrian traffic, including at least one of the following road users: pedestrians with mobility issues; pedestrians with prams; cyclists
using approved communication devices to transmit message and report traffic offenders, including the use of at least one of the following devices: hand held radio; mobile phone.
locate and apply required documentation, policies and procedures
participate in risk assessment and management processes
identify risks, hazards and required controls
complete at least one incident report from the below list and seek feedback on the outcome: client; public; traffic control.
